Kim Giberti, Executive Director
Kim Giberti has more than 30 years of experience in nursing, clinical operations and healthcare leadership. Since joining The Village at Gainesville in 2012 as Jasmine Pointe Assisted Living Manager, she has served in several leadership roles, including Senior Director of Health Services, Associate Executive Director and now Executive Director. In her current role, Kim oversees the overall leadership and operations of The Village at Gainesville, ensuring exceptional care, service and resident satisfaction throughout the community.
Before joining The Village, Kim spent 12 years as Director of Clinical Services at The Cardiac & Vascular Institute, helping advance cardiac care services throughout North Central Florida. Earlier in her career, she served in nursing and clinical leadership roles at UF Health before transitioning into executive healthcare leadership.
Passionate about serving older adults, she is committed to creating an environment where residents feel at home, families have peace of mind and every individual is encouraged to thrive.
Loretta Neal, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Senior Director of Human Resources, HRBP
Loretta Neal has more than 30 years of experience in human resources, organizational development and leadership. Since joining The Village in 2014, she has served as Senior Director of Human Resources and HR Business Partner, providing strategic leadership for talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to joining The Village, Loretta held executive human resources leadership roles across a variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce and customer service. Her experience includes eight years with Chico’s FAS, Inc., and 13 years with Nexpak, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation. Loretta holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications and earned her Executive Coaching Certification in 2024.
Passionate about servant leadership, she is dedicated to developing leaders, supporting associates, and fostering a workplace culture that enables The Village to provide exceptional experiences for residents and their families.

Josh Fuller, Senior Director of Operations
Josh Fuller has more than 20 years of experience in facilities and operations management, including over a decade of service at The Village at Gainesville. He joined The Village as Facilities Director, where he spent 10 years leading the team responsible for maintaining the community’s grounds, infrastructure and physical assets while overseeing numerous capital improvement projects.
As Senior Director of Operations, Josh provides strategic oversight for Facilities and Resident Services and leads initiatives that enhance resident amenities, improve operational efficiency and support The Village’s long-term goals. His hospitality-focused approach helps ensure residents enjoy a safe, welcoming and engaging environment.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement, Josh is dedicated to enhancing the resident experience and supporting The Village’s mission of creating a vibrant community where residents can thrive.
Tasha Penny, Director of Resident Services
The Environmental Services team and Tasha are responsible for providing a clean and welcoming home to The Village’s current and future community members. The community provides daily housekeeping, carpet cleaning and laundry services along with a variety of special services by resident request.
Tasha received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Florida State University. Professionally, she spent 10 years in various leadership roles within the YMCA. A few years ago, she began working in Environmental Services at North Florida Regional Medical Center and has since worked in three other hospitals, including UF Health. She is a hands-on manager and works closely with her team.
Rebecca Thornhill Brown, Senior Director of Health Services
Rebecca Thornhill Brown serves as Senior Director of Health Services at The Village at Gainesville, where she provides leadership and oversight for healthcare services across the community. Since joining The Village in 2020, she has held several leadership roles, including Vitality Manager and Director of Wellness and Community Life, before advancing to her current position.
Rebecca brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including 16 years in case management leadership at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City and North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. Her background includes expertise in neurology, neurosurgery, cardiac care and progressive care services, as well as leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams. .
Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social work from Florida State University. She is dedicated to enhancing resident well-being, fostering meaningful relationships, and ensuring exceptional care and service throughout The Village community.
Vickie Rodenwoldt, Director of Assisted Living & MS
As Director of Assisted Living, Vickie has more than 20 years of nursing experience in both clinical and management roles. She served as Assisted Living Manager for over five years prior to her current position. She oversees all Assisted Living neighborhoods by providing leadership and oversight of all clinical operations and strategic planning.
Before coming to The Village, Vickie served as a nurse for Senior Health Care centers and North Florida Regional Medical Center for 10 years. She has a passion for building relationships and providing quality services for our residents.

Tom Hammond, Director of Innovation and Technology
As Senior Director of Operations, Tom provides leadership and oversight of company business operations including strategic planning; financial and budgetary management; leadership succession and training; and safety compliance. He has more than 20 years of IT and business management experience, including management roles with the Department of Transportation as a member of the technology research and development team and senior support, and with the Levy County School Board as a network engineer.
He is a graduate of Santa Fe College Computer Science Program and holds several high-level IT certifications, as well as a Mini-MBA Certificate from Boston University.
